These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of text messaging services provided by Issaquah Christian Church (“ICC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from ICC, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Nature of Messages
By opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Issaquah Christian Church for ministry‑related communication. These messages may include:
Worship service and event reminders;
Updates about church ministries and programs;
Volunteer coordination and scheduling;
Prayer‑request follow‑up;
Important church announcements and other church‑related information.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on church activity and your level of participation. On average, most subscribers may receive a few messages per month, but some seasons or ministry roles may involve more frequent communication.
Opt‑Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Issaquah Christian Church at any time.
Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe.
After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.
Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from ICC on that mobile number, except as required by law or in connection with resolving your opt‑out request.

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described there. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt‑in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt‑in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Eligibility and Responsibility
By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provide and that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your contact information up to date and for any charges assessed by your mobile carrier.
Limitation of Liability
Issaquah Christian Church will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your participation in the SMS program. Our total liability for any claim related to the SMS program will not exceed the amount, if any, that you paid to participate in the program.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate the SMS program, or your individual participation in the program, at any time and for any reason, including suspected misuse or violation of these Terms. You may terminate your participation by replying STOP or by contacting our office.
Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
